Hello, WordPress Lover ! Here is a good news for you, WordPress 2.9 is available after 2.8.6. Now you can update anytime from your admin dashboard or manually download and update.
But how can do that? Its not a hard, you can update just one click if you update automatically. But if you update manually, may be it takes some times and it is not so easy.
Anyway, here I am telling about how to update WordPress?

For Automatic Update
1. Log in your Website Admin Panel
2. Go to Dashboar Option
3. See the button Please Update now besides WordPress 2.9 is availble, up of your dashboard, Just Click Please update button and wait for some times, because it takes several times.
4. This is okay, after some times it will be update. Now you are user of WordPress 2.9

Manually Update
1. Click Here to Download WordPress 2.9
2. Backup your websites Database and other necessary.
3. Remove your old version
4. Upload WordPress 2.9
5. Setup your database and other necessary
Its done, now you are user of WordPress 2.9
